Was the Arsenal match one of your career highlights would you say?
Yeh, definitely - I was glad when Van Persie went off after 20 minutes though! It was good just to be involved in the Quarter Finals of a major cup in my first season and just to see that standard - you know in yourself you want to play at that level, but it gives you a taster of what you have to do to get up there and how physically fit you have to be to compete.
The Man City game as well – that was my third ever Pro game, so it was a massive test straight away – it gives you that bit extra confidence to play as well as you can.
It was great for the club too – it's the most successful cup run the club has ever had and it put Doncaster on the map, so I'm really glad I was part of that.
Whose shirt did you get?
Hleb's - It's in a frame hung up at home – pride of place!
What are your ambitions for next season?
Promotion - I want to get up to the next level as quick as I can and with the new stadium and everything, we've got to go for the top 2. After just missing last season, with that experience and the talent we've got, we’ve enough to get up there.
Who do you think will be challenging?
I think the main ones will be Forest and Bristol City (and us obviously!), but I think it's quite open his time – no-one's just going to walk away with it. Also you never know how Millwall and Brighton will do having just come down.
Who are your sporting heroes?
Roberto Carlos and Paolo Maldini are the 2 for me as I'm a left back too - I just think they are both the business, and they have been at the top for so long, that takes some doing!
Worst dresser at the club? (not including yourself!)
Last year it was Simon Marples but he’s left now so it's open again!
