What has the cup run been like?

It's a really good experience – in the time I've been here, we've not had a good cup run before, which was a bit disappointing for all of us really, cos it's great to get those games against top teams. This time around it has been amazing; beating Wolves, Premiership teams all on the trot and at home as well – plus it has probably broken history for Chesterfield. For me personally to score in the game and attract a lot of attention has been amazing and I have enjoyed every minute of it. It is just a shame that they are out now, but we did well.

If you weren't a footballer, what would you have done?

I'm into my arts, graphic and fashion so I would probably have been a designer, artistically and fashion. It is still something that I do now as well as my football.

So, what happened against Basingstoke?

Yeah, what happened - It was a disappointing game. Everyone went into the game knowing it wasn’t going to be easy and we all tried hard. It was awkward conditions, and team was changed around a little bit but the players and the manager were all confident that whoever we put out there we would have a good go at them and get a result. Unfortunately, it didn't really go our way, we went a goal down and no matter who you are playing against it's difficult to come back from that, especially given the kind of game it was. There wasn't too much football and combined with the conditions, it was a bit awkward. We piled the pressure on towards the end but we didn’t have long enough to pull it back so big disappointment.

Who would be your football Idol?

Definitely John Barnes, I was childhood Liverpool fan. He was my favourite player ever, I remember writing a letter to Liverpool asking him not to leave!

Who would you say you are similar to as a player?

I have always liked Patrick Kluivert, he was a player that I would always try and base my game around - he had a lot of pace, could do a lot with the ball.
