Melorheostosis hold at least two charity fund-raisers each year and have been well supported by soccer stars with Danny Mills, Mark Schwarzer, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Peter Beagrie all lending their support. And SuperLeague legend Robbie Paul has also been keen to throw his weight behind the charity.
The charity's founder, Andrew Carnell, himself a 'Melo' sufferer, said: "We are very grateful for all the support that the game of football has given to the cause and hope that this will continue, in whatever shape or form people can offer."
