What are your strengths as a footballer?

I'm pretty good in the air and I think I am pretty efficient in the tackle. Possibly my pace is my biggest asset and it can get me out of trouble a lot of the time. My positioning needs more work but luckily my pace means I can normally get back into position before anybody has really noticed!

What do you think of the attention footballers get in the media?

Footballers, especially at top clubs, are some of the most high-profile people in the country because you're out in front of crowds every week, playing the national game. Obviously anything you do away from football is news and I think players do have an obligation to conduct themselves in a certain way. You have to be careful and watch your social life and if you misbehave you have to expect to be in the papers. I hope I do make the headlines, but only on the back pages.

What are your ambitions?

I've always set myself realistic targets rather than planning things I'd like to achieve by the end of my career. When I was first at Orient my goal was to get in the first team and then it was to get promoted. Now it's to establish myself as a regular in the Premiership and get Congo to the next World Cup. They're realistic goals and I have time to achieve them. I feel if I keep going the way I am at the moment things will work out.
