When I finished playing and started my Managerial career, I never in a million years thought I'd find myself as the National Team Coach of Thailand! I've been here about 7 months now, and am thoroughly enjoying myself.
The raw talent and enthusiasm's like a breath of fresh air, with the added bonus that my swearing rarely causes offence - 'cos they can barely understand English, let alone spoken with a Scouse accent!
There is a big job to be done out here and there is a willingness on the part of the Thai FA to develop and build a National Team to be proud of - the climate and the conditions are a slight hindrance, but certainly make the days off more enjoyable!
